Software Developer – Global Expansion Platform

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Software Developer to help automate and scale its launch strategy as the company expands into new countries. You will build customer‑facing features that operate in a highly distributed environment and directly influence e‑commerce revenue across more than 150 markets.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain services that automate Amazon’s international expansion launch process.
• Implement customer‑facing features that scale to millions of users in a distributed architecture.
• Collaborate with business teams to define expansion strategies and translate them into technical solutions.
• Apply machine‑learning models to create data‑driven features that solve real‑world problems.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance through sound design patterns and architecture.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience (non‑internship).
• 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems.
• Full‑lifecycle development experience including coding standards, code reviews, source control, testing and operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Quantitative mindset with strong judgment and a passion for delivering great customer experiences.
