Software Development Engineer – Full-Time, Belo Horizonte

About the role

Join Amazon as a Software Development Engineer (SDE‑I) in Belo Horizonte, where you will build scalable services that impact millions of customers worldwide. You will work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment, owning the full lifecycle of your code from design to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high‑quality software components.
• Maintain and improve existing services to ensure reliability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and deliver features on short development cycles.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within 24 months) from a Bachelor’s or higher program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or Information Systems.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object‑oriented design.
• Minimum age of 18 years.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of relational (SQL) and non‑relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and debugging tools.
• Exposure to AI tools for development productivity is a plus.
