Software Development Engineer (SDE I) – São Paulo

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Software Development Engineer (SDE I) to join its São Paulo team. You will work on scalable services that impact millions of customers worldwide, owning the full lifecycle of your code from design to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high‑quality software components.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and deliver features on a weekly cadence.
• Maintain and improve existing services, ensuring operational excellence.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting complex systems.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within 24 months) from a Bachelor’s or higher program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or Information Systems.
• Proficiency in at least one general‑purpose programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, TypeScript).
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object‑oriented design principles.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

What we offer

• Base salary between BRL 9,500 and BRL 10,500 per month.
