Software Engineer, Platform Experience

About the role

This position is for a Software Engineer focused on Platform Experience, based in Brazil. You will work on the core infrastructure that powers intelligent agent experiences for major consumer brands, ensuring reliability, observability, and performance at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Own and resolve complex production incidents end‑to‑end, debugging APIs, integrations, client behavior, and backend services.
• Investigate system behavior using logs, traces, SQL queries, and client‑side signals to identify root causes.
• Design and implement durable fixes, automation, tooling, and safeguards to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to reproduce issues and accelerate resolution.
• Translate production signals into roadmap input and structured platform improvements.
• Build runbooks, improve observability, and strengthen diagnostic capabilities.
• Identify incident patterns and drive systemic improvements that reduce operational load.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in platform, backend, or customer‑facing production environments.
• Strong debugging skills for distributed systems using logs, metrics, traces, and data analysis.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in English and interact with customers or stakeholders.
• Ownership mindset and comfort operating in ambiguous environments.
