Software Engineer (Web) – ReactJS & TypeScript

About the role

AgileEngine is seeking a Web Software Engineer to design and deliver a unified franchisee portal using ReactJS. You will be responsible for building high‑quality, performant web features while collaborating with a global engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and ship the franchisee portal web application with ReactJS.
• Own complex, critical UI components and ensure they meet performance and reliability standards.
• Write clean, well‑tested TypeScript code and maintain documentation.
• Optimize the application for speed, responsiveness, and memory usage.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production defects.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot for scaffolding, testing, and documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency.
