Sourcing Professional

About the role

IBM Finance & Operations is seeking a Sourcing Professional to lead strategic sourcing activities that support the company’s transformation agenda. You will work closely with global stakeholders and regional suppliers to secure supply, drive cost efficiencies and enhance procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end strategic sourcing processes, including vendor identification, RFx management and contract negotiation.
• Conduct detailed market analysis and total cost of ownership evaluations to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business units and external vendors to mitigate risks and improve service delivery.
• Identify quick‑win automation opportunities and apply digital tools to increase workflow efficiency.

Required profile

• High proficiency in English and Spanish for effective collaboration with global and regional partners.
• Proven experience applying strategic sourcing methodologies.
• Strong analytical mindset to drive cost‑savings and process optimisation.
• Ability to manage relationships and influence cross‑functional teams.
