Supplier Relationship Manager

About the role

The Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) will develop and coach suppliers to meet Volvo Logistics requirements and manage supply‑chain crises on a global scale. You will act as the primary liaison between suppliers and Volvo plants or distribution centres, ensuring smooth inbound logistics and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain networks with supplier logistics, plant, and continuous‑improvement teams.
• Conduct on‑site visits, audits (MMOG/LE), and gap analyses to identify risks and capacity issues.
• Monitor supplier dispatch precision and service levels, escalating issues to purchasing and crisis teams.
• Lead emergency routines during material shortages to prevent point‑of‑use disruptions.
• Participate in regional, global, and local SRM meetings, providing input for Business Review Meetings.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Proven experience in supply‑chain management.
• Very good command of English.
