Supply Chain Director

About the role

The Supply Chain Director will strategically lead the entire supply chain function, ensuring operational efficiency, cost competitiveness, regulatory compliance, and scalability to support national and international growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a corporate supply chain strategy aligned with growth and industrial expansion objectives.
• Structure processes, policies, indicators, and governance for purchasing, strategic sourcing, S&OP, logistics, foreign trade, warehousing, inventory, and supplier development.
• Lead national and international negotiations, establish long‑term contracts, and create Supplier Relationship Management programs.
• Oversee S&OP, demand planning, and materials planning to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing working capital.
• Manage national and international logistics operations, ensuring compliance with export, import, and handling requirements for sensitive materials.
• Develop and qualify strategic suppliers, implement evaluation programs, and diversify the supply base to mitigate risk.
• Lead multidisciplinary supply chain teams, design an organizational model compatible with growth, and foster a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Economics, International Trade or related field.
• MBA or postgraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, International Business, Strategic Management preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in supply chain management, including senior or executive leadership roles.
• Proven track record of structuring and transforming supply chain functions in complex industrial environments.
• Extensive experience in national and international strategic negotiations, import/export, and foreign trade management.
