System Administrator – Cloud & AWS (Remote)

About the role

This position supports a high‑performance cloud and infrastructure environment for enterprise‑grade, mission‑critical applications hosted primarily on AWS. You will work remotely, collaborating with engineering and DevOps teams to design, deploy, and maintain reliable cloud environments for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, document, and maintain cloud hosting architectures, including capacity planning, network design, and instance configuration.
• Build and deploy AWS‑based infrastructure through installation, configuration, testing, and validation.
• Implement automation and configuration‑management solutions for repeatable, scalable changes.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability, applying tuning and optimization as needed.
• Troubleshoot Linux systems, networks, applications, and cloud environments.
• Manage system security by implementing access controls, monitoring tools, and recommending improvements.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation for internal systems and client environments.
• Respond to incidents and support tickets in line with SLA requirements.
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation to ensure operational continuity of critical systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services in a system administration or infrastructure role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and production‑level troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP and HTTP.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, agile environment and participate in on‑call rotations.
