About the role

Sofitel Rio de Janeiro Ipanema is assembling a talent pool of culinary professionals to support the opening of its new luxury beachfront hotel. Candidates are invited to express interest in one of several gastronomy positions and will be considered as the relevant vacancies become available.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute high‑quality dishes in line with Sofitel’s French‑inspired standards.
• Manage kitchen operations, including sanitation, inventory, and staff coordination.
• Collaborate with the hotel’s food‑and‑beverage teams to deliver seamless service across restaurants, beach club, banquet events, and in‑room dining.
• Maintain the brand’s commitment to creativity, consistency, and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Passion for luxury hospitality and fine dining.
• Relevant experience for the specific role (e.g., chef, sous‑chef, baker, steward).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑standards environment.
• Clear indication of the desired position in the application.
