Team Lead, SAP AMS (Evergreen)

About the role

Rimini Street, a global provider of enterprise software support and managed services for Oracle, SAP and VMware, is hiring a Team Lead for its SAP Application Management Services (AMS) in São Paulo. The role leads the delivery of SAP AMS across a complex SAP environment, overseeing a team of SAP functional and technical consultants and acting as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of SAP AMS consultants and analysts, manage workload and priorities, and foster a customer-focused, results-driven culture.
• Oversee day-to-day SAP support operations across multiple modules, resolve incidents, problems and service requests within SLAs, and coordinate critical production issues and escalations.
• Serve as the main contact for business users, give regular service updates and reports, and manage customer expectations.
• Prioritize enhancement requests, coordinate testing, deployment and post-go-live support, and follow change control and governance processes.
• Support SAP upgrades, releases and transformation initiatives, and drive process optimization, automation and ITIL best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements and SAP security standards, maintain support documentation and contribute to risk management and business continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• At least 7 years of SAP support experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong experience in SAP AMS or production support environments.
• Experience managing incident, problem and change management processes.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of SAP ERP and/or SAP S/4HANA ecosystems.
• Knowledge of ITIL service management methodologies.
• Preferred: SAP certification in a functional or technical module, ITIL Foundation certification, experience with global or multi-country environments, knowledge of SAP integration, Fiori and SAP Basis, and experience managing distributed or remote teams.
