Team Leader Production

About the role

Schreiber is looking for a Production Team Leader to drive safety, quality, service and cost objectives across its manufacturing operations. You will lead a group of production partners, ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards, and champion continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop production staff while reinforcing Total Quality Control (TQC2) and process excellence.
• Direct departmental activities to meet or exceed targets for productivity, raw‑material usage, safety, customer complaints and service.
• Interpret customer requirements and translate them into production plans, critical control points and SOPs.
• Apply structured problem‑solving methods, corrective‑action tools and quality systems to implement process improvements.
• Plan and coordinate production schedules to satisfy demand while optimizing efficiency and resources.
• Identify capital improvement opportunities and support project justification, approval and execution.
• Monitor standard costs, budgets and operating expenses to support financial performance.
• Administer plant and departmental processes related to certifications, assessments and feedback mechanisms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in food or dairy science, engineering, finance, supply chain or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a production supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, food safety systems and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance and deliver continuous‑improvement results.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% for operational or business needs.
