Technical Communications Coordinator (Mineral Processing / Bilingual)

About the role

GateSource HR is recruiting, on behalf of a confidential client, a Technical Communications Coordinator in Belo Horizonte. The role supports technical and laboratory teams by turning engineering work into clear, professional and engaging communications. It suits an early-career person, such as a Mining Engineering undergraduate or recent graduate, who enjoys technical writing, storytelling and content creation.

Key responsibilities

• Collect technical updates from engineering and lab teams and turn them into internal newsletters, short technical updates, project summaries and "wins".
• Create reusable templates for consistent internal and external communications.
• Capture technical content in the lab and field, including photos, short videos and interviews.
• Conduct short "what we did and why it matters" interviews with engineers.
• Maintain an organized library of visuals, slides and written content.
• Ensure all content meets professional, safety and confidentiality standards.

Required profile

• Undergraduate or recent graduate in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong, polished English writing skills; bilingualism is part of the title.
• Comfortable taking photos and short videos with a phone or camera.
• Strong organization and coordination skills, and curiosity and confidence when talking to technical professionals.

Required skills

• Basic editing skills: simple video trims, captions and formatting.
• Nice to have: experience with Canva, PowerPoint or similar design tools, familiarity with mining and mineral processing terminology, and understanding of what makes technical content credible.
