About the role

The Junior Refrigeration Diagnostic Technician will perform in‑circuit verification, diagnosis and repair of electronic circuit board assemblies used in refrigeration systems. The role supports the Test Engineering department and contributes to improving diagnostic efficiency while adhering to Jabil’s production standards.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair opens, shorts and boundary‑scan failures to component level on electronic circuit board assemblies.
• Utilise electronic test and measurement equipment and interpret schematics, BOMs, visual aids and debugging tools.
• Assist the Test Engineering team in data‑evaluation programs aimed at increasing diagnostic yield.
• Follow Jabil production requirements, policies, safety and security procedures.
• Collaborate with the Diagnostic department to meet process yield goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistics, geometry, fractions, percentages and ratios.
• Strong analytical skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Effective communication skills for presenting information to managers, clients and teams.
• Proficiency with Windows‑based PCs and related software, including Jabil’s internal applications.
• Capability to read and understand visual aids, simple instructions and basic correspondence.
