Test Automation Engineer (Web)

About the role

Solvd is seeking a Test Automation Engineer (Web) to join the team developing a social news aggregation platform.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain automated test cases and execute test suites.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test suites within CI pipelines.
• Maintain test infrastructure stability in non‑production environments.
• Collaborate with developers to produce test plans, cases, procedures and reports.
• Participate in issue triage and root‑cause analysis across functional teams.

Required profile

• 4+ years building automation frameworks for mobile/web applications, preferably social media.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC, QA best practices and CI/CD processes.
• Experience writing test plans independently and performing exploratory testing.
• Excellent communication in English and ability to work in fast‑paced Agile/Scrum environments.

• Typescript programming language.
• Playwright test framework.
• CI/CD pipeline setup and integration.
• Git version control.
• Jira (and Confluence) for test case management.
• API testing.
• iOS and Android testing environments.
• Web and mobile‑web testing concepts.
