Textile Designer – Home & Apparel

About the role

Adaptive Teams is seeking a Textile Designer who loves pattern work to create prints, patterns, and technical specifications for home and apparel products sold on Amazon and other e‑commerce platforms. The role is fully remote and involves taking designs from initial sketch through to factory‑ready files.

Key responsibilities

• Design prints, patterns, repeats, and colorways for categories such as bedding, throws, towels, home décor, and apparel.
• Develop technical specifications, tech packs, and pattern work for manufacturers.
• Define fabrics, constructions, finishes, measurements, and trims.
• Translate trend research and product references into clear design directions.
• Review samples and lab dips, providing feedback on colour, fabric, fit, and construction.
• Prepare and organise production‑ready artwork and files.
• Collaborate with product development, sourcing, and manufacturing partners.

Required profile

• Experience as a textile, surface, print, or technical designer in home or apparel.
• Strong eye for colour, trends, and commercial appeal.
• Comfortable working with physical samples, measurements, and multiple revision rounds.
• Experience working with overseas manufacturers is a plus.
• Amazon or e‑commerce product experience is a strong plus.
