Transport Coordinator

About the role

The Inbound Transport Coordinator will oversee inbound transportation activities across Brazil and the United States, ensuring material availability and cost‑efficient flows. Working on a schedule that provides extended weekend coverage, you will collaborate with supply‑chain, procurement, manufacturing, logistics providers and transportation partners to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor inbound transportation activities and shipment performance across Brazil and North America.
• Manage express transports, critical deliveries and transportation bidding through the Transport Management System (TMS).
• Support ShipIT operations, track deliveries, identify risks and proactively address deviations.
• Perform road and ocean Track & Trace activities, including vessel follow‑up.
• Coordinate air‑freight shipments and airport pick‑up activities.
• Assist container yard management and inbound transportation flows.
• Investigate transportation issues, implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with service, lead‑time, quality and cost requirements.
• Support escalation management for critical events affecting material availability.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on reliability and efficiency.

Required skills

• Experience with Transport Management System (TMS).
• Familiarity with Track & Trace processes for road, ocean and air freight.
