About the role
Halliburton is seeking a Well Engineer to join its team in Macaé, Brazil. The role focuses on delivering integrated well‑intervention engineering proposals and ensuring the technical integrity of operations throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Develop integrated well‑intervention engineering proposals and design of services.
- Prepare operation plans, programs and monitor day‑to‑day execution.
- Participate in risk assessments, forecasting and medium‑ to long‑term planning.
- Prepare equipment lists, identify long‑lead items and ensure effective project communication.
- Conduct engineering studies to resolve recurring issues.
- Produce End‑of‑Well reports and contribute to knowledge‑management activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in well services/intervention, including well intervention and abandonment.
- Well Control certification preferred.
- Experience with integrated projects and supervisory or multi‑discipline exposure preferred.
- Advanced English required; Spanish preferred.
- CREA registration required.
