About the role
Halliburton is seeking a Well Engineer to join its operations in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro. The role focuses on delivering integrated well‑intervention solutions, ensuring technical integrity of operations, and supporting long‑term project success.
Key responsibilities
- Develop integrated well‑intervention engineering proposals and design service packages.
- Prepare operation plans, programs, and equipment lists, identifying long‑lead items.
- Monitor day‑to‑day well operations and ensure effective communication across project teams.
- Participate in risk assessments, forecasts, and medium‑ to long‑term planning.
- Conduct engineering studies to resolve recurring technical issues.
- Produce end‑of‑well reports and contribute to knowledge‑management activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in well services, intervention, or abandonment.
- Well Control certification preferred.
- Experience with integrated projects and multi‑discipline operations.
- Advanced English; Spanish and CREA certification are a plus.
