Well Intervention Specialist – Saudi Arabia Relocation

About the role

Aramco is seeking an experienced Well Intervention Specialist to join its Unconventional Resources Completion Engineering Division. The role requires relocation to Saudi Arabia and involves planning, executing, and optimizing rig‑less well intervention activities across a range of challenging environments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and validate well intervention activities, providing solutions for wells with integrity issues.
• Execute routine well interventions, diagnostics, and downhole remediation, and develop field operational procedures.
• Select, trial, and implement advanced well completion and intervention technologies, coordinating with drilling and frac service teams.
• Model well and field completion performance and integrity using industry‑recognized software.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards, maintaining well barrier requirements for all interventions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering from an accredited program.
• 10–15 years of experience in rig‑less well intervention operations, including design, planning, and execution of wireline, slickline, and coiled tubing in critical sour‑gas and unconventional environments.
