Workforce Planning & Operations Manager

About the role

Join FIFA’s Brazil subsidiary to lead workforce planning and operations for the historic FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027. You will work closely with the global Workforce Management team in Zurich to ensure the right talent is in place at the right time for this landmark event.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of workforce planning and operations for the Women’s World Cup 2027.
• Coordinate planning activities across all workforce types, including paid staff, freelancers, tournament‑time hires and secondees.
• Maintain the centralised headcount plan and ensure data accuracy.
• Assist in defining workforce categories, entitlements, budgets and timelines.
• Develop operational plans for tournament‑time delivery, covering site operations, physical space requirements, technology and logistics.
• Create workforce policies and procedures in partnership with transport, accommodation, catering and core business areas.
• Deliver role‑specific and venue‑specific training for workforce teams.
• Supervise, schedule and coordinate daily workforce and volunteer operations, providing support to venue managers during the event.

Required profile

• Proven experience in workforce planning or operations, preferably in international sports or large‑scale events.
• Familiarity with workforce planning systems, tools and data‑driven decision making.
• Experience coordinating operational venue teams at major events.
• Strong understanding of cross‑functional collaboration and change management.
