About the role

We are seeking a talented YouTube Long‑Form Video Editor to create immersive, documentary‑style content that brings science, history, nature and complex topics to life. Working remotely from Brazil, you will transform scripts, voiceovers and creative direction into engaging videos that drive strong audience retention.

Key responsibilities

• Edit long‑form, documentary‑style YouTube videos with a focus on storytelling, pacing and retention.
• Refine narrative flow by precisely cutting voiceovers, pauses and scene transitions.
• Integrate pre‑rendered 3D sequences and motion‑design assets into cohesive visual stories.
• Source and incorporate high‑quality stock footage to enhance narrative clarity.
• Apply color correction and visual adjustments to ensure consistency across mixed media.
• Collaborate closely with directors on structure, tone and creative direction.
• Perform basic sound design tasks such as audio cleanup, balancing and mixing.
• Maintain consistent style, branding and visual identity across all content.
• Deliver high‑quality edits within tight publishing deadlines.

Required profile

• Proven experience editing YouTube content, preferably long‑form documentary or narrative‑driven videos.
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling and audience‑retention techniques.
• Ability to source, curate and integrate stock footage effectively.
• Experience blending multiple media types (live footage, stock, 3D, motion graphics).
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to visual quality.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within creative teams.
