Finance Director – Brazil

About the role

LiuGong, a global construction equipment manufacturer, is seeking a Finance Director for its Brazilian subsidiary. The role will oversee financial risk management, ensure compliance with local regulations, and align the subsidiary’s financial planning with the group’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control financial risks for the overseas subsidiary.
• Design and implement financial systems that meet Brazilian regulatory requirements.
• Prepare the subsidiary’s annual financial plan and control standards based on headquarters’ strategy.
• Develop and maintain a local tax compliance framework and liaise with government agencies, auditors, banks, and tax advisors.
• Review accounting vouchers, maintain subsidiary ledgers, and post to the general ledger.
• Oversee bookkeeping, month‑end closing, and account reconciliation.
• Consolidate financial statements and provide analysis to support management decisions.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Fluency in Mandarin and professional proficiency in English; Portuguese proficiency preferred.
• Legally authorized to work in Brazil without visa sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; intermediate accounting title required.
• CPA or ACCA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian fiscal and tax policies and accounting standards.
• Experience with mainstream financial software and full‑cycle accounting.
• Prior experience in financial leasing or banking is a plus.
