FP&T Business Analyst

About the role

Syngenta’s Crop Protection team is seeking a Finance Process & Technology (FP&T) Business Analyst to join its São Paulo office. The role bridges finance requirements with system design, ensuring compliance with business, legal and internal control standards while supporting global finance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Translate finance requirements into efficient process and system designs, producing comprehensive documentation.
• Advise finance teams on best‑practice processes and solutions, collaborating with IT and Continuous Improvement as needed.
• Provide functional and change‑delivery guidance for finance‑related projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives, including ERP and ancillary applications.
• Manage project and change‑management activities, ensuring clear communication among all stakeholders.
• Facilitate collaboration between the Americas FP&T team and global counterparts in EAME, APAC, GFO, as well as IT and Continuous Improvement functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Information Systems or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of finance processes such as period close, accruals, reconciliations, AP/AR, and T&E, with familiarity with IFRS/US GAAP.
• Essential understanding of Brazilian statutory and tax regulations.
• Proven experience implementing SAP ECC or SAP S/4 HANA finance/control modules.
• Experience with integrations, data migration and banking processes.
• Knowledge of Agile/Hybrid methodologies and tools (Azure DevOps, Jira).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills; ability to work across time zones.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
