Income Tax Specialist – Brazil

About the role

Rockwell Automation is seeking an Income Tax Specialist to join its Tax team in Brazil. The role focuses on direct tax routines, audits, global reporting, and Transfer Pricing activities under OECD rules, collaborating closely with Finance, Accounting, Audit, Legal, and Global Tax teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly and annual Income Tax calculations (IRPJ, CSLL), including Deferred Tax and ETR analysis.
• Prepare and review accounting and tax reconciliations related to Income Tax.
• Analyze accounts impacting direct tax calculations, such as expenses, provisions, and temporary differences.
• Prepare audit notes and provide technical support for internal and external audits.
• Manage tax incentives, controls, and related documentation.
• Prepare, review, and file Income Tax returns, including the ECF (local file), with external advisors.
• Execute Transfer Pricing calculations based on OECD rules and support Local File preparation.
• Deliver tax reports in English to Corporate and Global Tax teams.
• Monitor legislative changes in Income Tax and Transfer Pricing and assess their impact.
• Handle tax matters through official portals (e‑CAC, DEC), including tax clearance certificates and notifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics, Administration or related field.
• Solid experience with Income Tax calculations and ECF preparation.
• Advanced Excel proficiency for data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Advanced or fluent English for report preparation and global interaction.
• Availability to work on‑site at least three days per week (hybrid model).
