Logistics Manager – Hybrid (3PL & Warehouse Operations)

About the role

The Logistics Manager will lead end‑to‑end operations of third‑party logistics providers (3PLs) for a global medical technology company. Reporting to the Senior Manager, the role focuses on delivering best‑in‑class performance, cost efficiency, and sustainability across warehousing, distribution, and supply‑chain functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage local contracts and 3PL performance, ensuring KPI compliance and contract adherence.
• Prepare, manage, and execute the operations budget, including revisions.
• Monitor warehouse and distribution activities such as inventory, cycle counts, physical inventory, shipping, system accuracy, and order fulfillment.
• Conduct monthly performance review meetings with 3PLs and act as the primary point of contact.
• Implement inventory policies and controls to prevent stockouts, reduce excess, and oversee kitting operations.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local legislation, and regulatory requirements, including quality control.
• Identify process improvements, implement corrective actions, and drive cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Analyze performance data, provide insights to senior management, and collaborate on forecasting, capacity planning, and sustainability projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in warehousing, distribution or logistics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Fluent English (advanced level).
• Proven experience managing 3PL relationships and contract negotiations.
