Network & Systems Administrator – IT Infrastructure

About the role

Playtech is seeking a hands‑on Network & Systems Administrator to join its growing IT infrastructure team in Brazil. You will support day‑to‑day operations of corporate networks, servers and related systems while working with modern technologies in a global, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN and Wi‑Fi networks across offices and data centres.
• Install, upgrade and resolve issues with hardware, software and infrastructure components.
• Investigate and resolve IT incidents reported by users, ensuring reliable service delivery.
• Follow corporate security policies and contribute to a compliant environment.
• Assist in infrastructure projects, documentation, upgrades and system improvements.
• Collaborate with team leads, peers, cross‑functional teams and external vendors as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field is desirable but not mandatory.
• Proven experience in network and system administration within a corporate setting.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and communicate clearly with global teams.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Routing, switching, firewalls and Wi‑Fi networking.
• VPN or Zero‑Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions.
• VMware or comparable virtualization platforms.
• Fundamental networking/security knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• DNS, user/role‑based access control and general IT security practices.
• Experience with Meraki devices, Cisco/Juniper equipment and Linux/Windows administration is a plus.
