Remote TypeScript Developer

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned TypeScript Developer to join INDI’s remote team. You will collaborate with designers and engineers to create flexible, scalable, and maintainable web applications that deliver an excellent user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and implement user interface strategies for web properties.
• Design and refine the look and feel of applications in partnership with designers.
• Write clean, high-quality JavaScript/TypeScript code using frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Conduct code analysis to improve JS and CSS quality and enforce best-practice policies.
• Continuously enhance user experience through research and testing.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
• Maintain shared codebases using disciplined source-control and documentation processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with TypeScript.
• Strong background in secure, scalable web applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and jQuery.
• Proficiency with AJAX, XML, JSON and common design patterns.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Advanced level of English.
