Systems Administration Specialist II

About the role

The Systems Administration Specialist II will manage and support Lincoln Electric’s server and cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability, security and performance across global environments.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Active Directory, VMware, Windows and Linux servers, as well as cloud platforms.
• Implement and maintain security controls to protect infrastructure from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
• Lead medium‑size technical tasks such as upgrades, environment clean‑ups, application server deployments and infrastructure enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, providing technical input and delivering assigned deliverables.
• Coordinate server integration processes, following best practices for seamless technology transitions.
• Document operational processes, procedures and system configurations.
• Participate in incident response, on‑call rotation, root‑cause analysis and resolution.
• Identify and recommend improvements to increase system reliability and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or equivalent experience.
• 5‑8 years of experience in server and cloud administration, including design and support of enterprise environments.
