About the role

The Test Engineering Technician (PL) supports the Test Engineer in developing, qualifying, and delivering test solutions for manufacturing. This role bridges test support and production, ensuring that fixtures, programs, and tooling meet customer expectations and are ready for high‑volume manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Test Engineer in creating and commissioning test solutions, including fixture and program qualification.
• Provide all necessary deliverables to support test solutions in production for both Test Support and Manufacturing Operations.
• Help build and manufacture testers, fixtures, and environmental tooling as required.
• Document test solutions and deliver training to the Test Support function.
• Produce comprehensive documentation and coordinate training for Manufacturing teams.
• Monitor test yields, efficiency, intermittencies, and uptime, reporting results and setting improvement targets.
• Continuously improve the test process, balancing cost and coverage for an optimized, cost‑effective solution.
• Coordinate test‑readiness schedules based on weekly production plans.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills for presenting information to managers, clients, and teams.
• Analytical ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficiency with personal computers and Windows‑based operating systems.
• Experience with Jabil’s internal software tools.
• Capability to read and interpret visual aids, simple instructions, and basic technical documents.
• Basic mathematical skills for calculations, ratios, percentages, and graph interpretation.
