Video Editor

About the role

The Video Editor will create high‑quality video content for broadcast, digital platforms and social media, supporting live sports coverage and promotional campaigns. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, delivering fast‑turnaround edits while maintaining the brand’s visual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Edit video assets for TV, YouTube and social channels, including match promos, competition campaigns and programming teasers.
• Produce highlight packages and short‑form clips from live sports events.
• Integrate motion‑graphics elements such as lower thirds, transitions, sponsorship tags and animated graphics.
• Ensure visual and editorial consistency with SportyNet’s brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with Programming, Marketing and Social Media teams to support upcoming broadcasts and campaigns.
• Maintain organized project files, timelines and version control for all productions.
• Contribute creative ideas for storytelling, audience engagement and promotional concepts.

Required profile

• Degree in Film, Communication, Audiovisual Production or a related field.
• 3+ years of video‑editing experience for media companies, broadcasters or digital platforms.
• Experience with sports content or live events is highly desirable.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating editing skill and storytelling ability.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animation.
• Familiarity with broadcast editing workflows and delivery formats.
• Understanding of video codecs, frame rates and export standards.
• Experience adapting content for TV and digital platforms.
