About the role

John Deere is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join its technology team in Indaiatuba, Brazil. Working under senior mentors, you will help design, develop, and maintain modern web applications while gaining hands‑on experience with cloud services and infrastructure automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and React.js.
• Participate in building scalable, highly available distributed systems on AWS.
• Contribute to unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing to ensure software quality.
• Support CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to provision cloud resources.
• Implement observability practices with New Relic and OpenTelemetry.
• Collaborate in an Agile, hybrid work environment (3 days onsite per week).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field (completed).
• Intermediate English proficiency for written communication and meetings.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model, attending the office three times a week.
