Implementation Specialist – Payments Testing

About the role

Join Mastercard’s implementation team in Sao Paulo and lead a group of specialists who provide testing support for technical interfaces on Mastercard’s core and auxiliary processing systems. You will act as the primary liaison for international financial institutions, transaction processors, and service providers, ensuring smooth, secure, and compliant payment processing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of implementation specialists in a customer‑facing environment.
• Coordinate and execute standard and complex testing activities for Mastercard’s payment processing interfaces.
• Serve as the central point of contact for customers and Mastercard representatives throughout testing cycles.
• Validate that processing interfaces comply with Mastercard’s global product rules and specifications.
• Define, document, and maintain testing processes for both standard and non‑standard customer interfaces.
• Deliver internal and customer training on testing procedures and system functionalities.

Required profile

• Solid experience in information technology systems with a strong grasp of network technology and applications.
• Deep knowledge of electronic payment processes, including authorization, clearing, and settlement.
• Familiarity with Mastercard’s payment processing formats and host‑interface testing principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of teaching and interacting with senior and executive stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead matrix organizations, drive change, and work independently in a fast‑changing environment.
