Founding Senior Software Engineer (USA + LATAM)

About the role

Clipbook is building a platform that ingests, comprehends, summarizes, and surfaces insights from news, TV, podcasts, social media, and internet data in real time. As a Founding Senior Software Engineer you will join a small, high‑impact engineering team and ship features to over 200 customers.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build core systems, driving key decisions across the stack and owning feature development end‑to‑end.
• Integrate AI into real‑world workflows, putting LLMs and ML models into production (RAG pipelines, embeddings, prompt execution, agentic systems, fine‑tuned models).
• Design scalable systems that can grow 10x while balancing short‑term investments.
• Develop performant APIs and services, creating robust internal interfaces that ensure reliability, security, and a seamless customer experience.

Required profile

• 3+ years building and scaling production systems with strong backend fundamentals.
• Demonstrated excitement for rapid development and shipping fast.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines (AWS/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication skills.
