Tech Event Operations & Systems Architect

About the role

We are seeking an in‑house Tech Event Operations & Systems Architect to own and coordinate our event technology ecosystem. You will bring together registration platforms, event apps, automation, CRM and reporting into a unified stack, supporting high‑impact global marketing events.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Tier 1 flagship event‑tech ecosystem end‑to‑end, ensuring integration and reliable performance of registration, app, email automation, CRM and analytics platforms.
• Lead technical delivery and go‑live readiness, managing timelines, dependencies, risks, change control, stakeholder communications, runbooks and support models.
• Provide technical consultation for regional events, establishing standards, office hours, troubleshooting and scalable adoption of best practices.
• Define and maintain the platform roadmap, reusable patterns and continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and attendee experience.
• Manage suppliers and internal stakeholders through requirements gathering, configuration, integration, testing and launch, partnering with Marketing Ops, Web and IT teams.
• Ensure secure, high‑quality event data capture and integration with core systems such as Salesforce or Marketo, including consent handling, field mapping and QA/UAT.
• Coordinate event websites and landing pages with Web teams, improving UX, conversion, accessibility and performance from day one.
• Standardise delivery across the portfolio with playbooks, templates, SOPs, training, testing checklists and reporting frameworks.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering event technology for large, complex events.
• Strong project‑management skills with ability to manage timelines, risks and stakeholder communications.
• Experience working with Marketing Operations, Web and IT teams in a collaborative environment.
