Technology Lead – Azure & Snowflake Data Engineering

About the role

Infosys Brazil is seeking a Technology Lead to drive data engineering initiatives on Azure and Snowflake platforms. The role focuses on designing, supporting, and maintaining robust data pipelines while collaborating with global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to alerts from Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Snowflake pipelines.
• Review monitoring reports, create PBIs/user stories, and resolve identified issues.
• Assist users via Zoom channels, capture process gaps, and implement fixes.
• Develop and maintain batch and streaming pipelines using Azure services, Python, and Spark.
• Investigate data quality gaps, perform missing‑data analysis, and remediate failed jobs.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in pipeline design, support, and development (5+ years for senior data engineers).
• Proven expertise with Azure cloud services and Snowflake.
• Advanced Python and Spark programming skills.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes in Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Git‑based version control and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Snowflake certification is a plus.
