Translation Project Coordinator – São Paulo

About the role

TransPerfect is looking for a proactive Translation Project Coordinator to oversee the full life‑cycle of localization projects in its São Paulo office. You will act as the central point of contact between sales, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery of linguistic services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple translation and localization projects from initiation to delivery in a fast‑paced environment.
• Coordinate all project phases, predict timelines, and monitor progress against milestones.
• Liaise with sales staff to clarify project parameters and scope.
• Negotiate deadlines and rates with external vendors and maintain strong relationships with contract translators and proofreaders worldwide.
• Control project finances, including budgeting and cost tracking.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Perform quality checks at various stages to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Translation, Communication or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a similar corporate role.
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional languages are a plus.
• Detail‑oriented with strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
• Analytical problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
