B2B Communications Manager – LATAM

About the role

OpenAI is looking for a senior B2B Communications Manager for the LATAM region, based in São Paulo, to shape how businesses across the region understand and responsibly adopt OpenAI’s technology, products, and AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the LATAM B2B communications strategy aligned with regional business priorities and OpenAI’s mission.
• Develop clear, compelling narratives that illustrate how organizations can use OpenAI’s technology to boost productivity, innovate, and drive growth.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, Product, Research, Safety, Legal, Policy, and global Communications teams to translate complex technology into locally relevant messages.
• Lead earned‑media strategy for B2B audiences, securing coverage in national, business, technology, and industry outlets.
• Identify and craft customer and partner stories that demonstrate measurable business outcomes and responsible AI adoption.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in B2B, corporate, product, or technology communications.
• Proven ability to communicate enterprise technology and translate complex capabilities into clear business narratives.
• Strong earned‑media relationships across national, business, technology, and industry trade media.
• Deep understanding of the LATAM business, technology, and media landscape, including market‑specific enterprise adoption nuances.
• Experience partnering closely with cross‑functional teams (marketing, sales, product, policy, etc.) and advising senior leaders on high‑profile launches and sensitive issues.
