Account Manager - São Paulo

About the role

Flexport is opening its doors in Brazil and is looking for an Account Manager to lead client growth in São Paulo, one of the most important markets in its LATAM expansion. This is part of the first cohort of local hires building Flexport's presence in the country, working with Sales, Operations, Trade Advisory, Customs and Procurement to build client strategies from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and launch new solutions for large, complex global freight forwarding clients, covering Air, Ocean, Cross-border, Trade Advisory, Customs and Control Tower.
• Partner with global sales teams in the US, Europe and APAC to expand share of wallet with existing accounts.
• Upsell in Brazil through platform demos, onboarding coordination and consistent client operating procedures.
• Run business reviews, review operational performance and follow up on NPS results to improve client satisfaction.
• Oversee account-level quality assurance, including metrics evaluation, volume forecasting and resolving discrepancies.
• Build alignment with executive-level customer contacts and stay current on industry and supply chain developments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree.
• 3-5 years of freight forwarding, SaaS account management or sales experience.
• Experience building client relationships globally and working across complex global team structures.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking and disciplined planning.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Awareness of cultural differences and a compliance-first mindset.
