Country Controller – Brazil & Paraguay

About the role

The Brazil & Paraguay Country Controller will lead all controllership activities for Vylor’s legal entities in the two countries. Reporting to senior finance leadership, the role ensures accurate financial statements, compliance with US GAAP and local GAAP, and a strong internal control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and certify US GAAP financial statements for all entities.
• Lead month‑end close processes, including revenue recognition, accruals, inventory valuation, remeasurement, translation and related postings.
• Coordinate with local tax teams to meet Brazilian tax filing requirements and submit statutory reports such as the annual ECD.
• Manage the preparation and audit of local GAAP financial statements, acting as primary contact for external auditors.
• Maintain SOX compliance, oversee internal controls, and represent finance in governance and compliance matters.
• Ensure alignment with Vylor’s global accounting policies, code of conduct, and ERP data flows.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting under US GAAP and Brazilian GAAP.
• Hands‑on experience managing month‑end close and audit processes.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.
• Ability to work with external auditors (Big Four) and internal audit teams.
