Dentist Subject Matter Expert (Remote Contractor)

About the role

This is a remote, hourly contractor position where you will act as a Dentist Subject Matter Expert (SME). You will review AI‑generated dental and oral‑health responses, create expert content, and provide detailed feedback to improve the accuracy, safety, and clarity of AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by writing detailed prompts and gold‑standard answers covering diagnosis, treatment planning, emergencies, prescribing, and patient counseling.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses, ensuring correctness, safety, clarity, and contextual relevance.
• Test AI outputs for inaccuracies, unsafe recommendations, and bias; validate reliability across diverse patient populations.
• Fact‑check clinical information, identify missing contraindications, medication risks, and unsafe assumptions.
• Write high‑quality explanations and model solutions that demonstrate proper clinical reasoning.

Required profile

• DDS/DMD (or equivalent) with an active dental licence (or eligibility).
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in clinical dentistry (general practice, hospital, community, or specialty).
• Strong clinical reasoning skills, including differential diagnosis, red‑flag recognition, and triage.
• Deep knowledge of oral disease processes, dental materials, and procedural fundamentals.
• Exceptional attention to detail when fact‑checking and identifying safety issues.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency.
