Hardware Technician – IoT Device Assembly & Testing

About the role

Join TRACTIAN’s fast‑growing hardware team and help bring cutting‑edge IoT devices from concept to mass production. As a Hardware Technician you will work hands‑on in a lab environment, assembling, reworking and testing electronic boards that power our industrial‑grade solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and test electronic boards on SMD lines and during prototyping phases.
• Perform rework of surface‑mount (SMD) and through‑hole (PTH) components.
• Support hardware engineers with diagnostics, functional tests and failure analysis.
• Prepare materials, tools and lab infrastructure for testing activities.
• Follow documented technical procedures for assembly, inspection and prototype validation.
• Record failures, rework actions and test results in the lab tracking system.
• Maintain organization, safety and ESD best practices within the laboratory.

Required profile

• Technical degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with PCB assembly and testing.
• Basic understanding of electronics theory and ability to read schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise technical instructions.
