High-Volume Short-Form Video Editor

About the role

Community Sports Partners is looking for a high-output short-form Video Editor who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. You will turn real-world footage captured by the on-camera content team into high-converting short videos for paid advertising and organic social media across Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and more. The role is built on rapid turnaround: raw footage arrives on Monday and high-volume, high-quality variants are delivered throughout the week.

Key responsibilities

• Edit UGC-style vertical video (Reels/TikTok/Shorts) optimized for paid performance: hook in the first 2 seconds, captions always, native-feel pacing
• Produce ad variants at volume: same footage, multiple hooks, openings and CTAs for creative testing
• Cut parent, kid and coach interviews into testimonial ads
• Add motion graphics, captions (English; Spanish a plus) and brand elements
• Turn around priority requests in 24-48 hours
• Maintain an organized footage library and template system
• Work from a weekly brief from the Head of Growth and report variant output weekly

Required profile

• 2+ years in an ad-driven editing role, editing paid creative for a performance/growth team, DTC brand or ad agency where cuts ran as actual ads with measured results (vlog/organic-only editors will not be considered)
• Fluent written English and conversational spoken English for weekly calls
• Fast, reliable and deadline-driven; volume matters as much as polish
• Must complete two short assessments (about 5 minutes each) before or after applying: Culture Index survey and Skills game assessment

Required skills

• Premiere Pro or CapCut Pro, plus After Effects (or equivalent) proficiency
• Understanding of performance creative: knowing what a hook is and why the first 2 seconds matter
• Bonus: AI tooling fluency (auto-captioning, voice, upscaling), Spanish-language content capability, and direct exposure to creative testing frameworks
