Junior Operational Security Analyst

About the role

Airbus, through its subsidiary Helibras, is seeking a Junior Operational Security Analyst to support the Safety Management System (SMS) in its Itajubá facility. The role involves monitoring safety performance, supporting audits, and contributing to continuous improvement in operational safety.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and managing operational routines of the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Consolidate and analyse safety performance indicators (KPIs/SPIs) and prepare management reports.
• Support internal and external operational safety audits.
• Maintain up‑to‑date manuals and regulatory documentation (ANAC/RBAC).
• Handle receipt, screening, logging and investigation support for Operational Safety Reports.
• Monitor corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans and their effectiveness.
• Support training initiatives, campaigns and events to strengthen safety culture.
• Ensure continuous communication with operations teams and report relevant occurrences.
• Manage data integrity for productive activities and technical qualifications.
• Assist in budgeting, cost analysis and purchase request processing for the SMS department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Production, Mechanical Engineering or related fields, Aeronautical Sciences or Civil Aviation.
• Strong understanding of SMS concepts and pillars.
• Knowledge of civil aviation regulations (ANAC, applicable RBACs).
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Previous experience or internship in the aviation sector is a plus.
• Practical knowledge of risk analysis and root‑cause tools (CAPA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagram).
• Intermediate to advanced English for reading technical documentation.
