Mid-Level Software Engineer

About the role

EBANX is a fast‑growing fintech that connects digital businesses with customers across 21 markets. We are looking for a Mid‑Level Software Engineer to help maintain and evolve a high‑availability payments platform that processes millions of transactions daily.

Key responsibilities

• Write, test, and document code in an incremental, agile manner.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and assist teammates with complex design and architectural decisions.
• Continuously deploy and monitor code in production.
• Develop internal tools that improve team efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, Risk, and Business Development teams.
• Contribute to strategic projects and the future roadmap of the payments platform.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, implementing, and deploying software solutions.
• Strong interest in data structures, concurrency, persistence, and distributed systems.
• Expertise with Git or another collaborative version‑control system.
• Clear vision for software quality, system evolution, and problem decomposition.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies, languages, and engineering practices.
