Safety Physician – Pharmacovigilance

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Safety Physician specialized in Pharmacovigilance to join its global safety team. The role focuses on signal detection, risk management and regulatory reporting for assigned pharmaceutical products, supporting both clinical development and post‑marketing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead signal detection and evaluation activities for designated products.
• Prepare high‑quality safety evaluation documents and respond to internal and regulatory requests.
• Support the development and maintenance of Risk Management Plans (RMPs) and risk tables.
• Author and contribute to periodic safety reports and related regulatory submissions.
• Review clinical study protocols, aggregate safety reports and other program‑level documents.
• Participate in safety governance structures such as Safety Review Teams.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify, assess and mitigate product safety issues.
• Contribute to Safety Evaluation and Risk Management (SERM) activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in pharmacovigilance, including signal detection and safety evaluation.
• Familiarity with global regulatory requirements and safety reporting processes.
• Experience supporting Risk Management Plans, aggregate reports and clinical safety documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional, international teams.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when evaluating safety data.
