Sales Executive

About the role

This position is based at Alfa Laval's São Paulo office and focuses on technical sales of the Separation Technologies portfolio (decanters) for customers in the corn ethanol industry. You will develop relationships, identify new business opportunities and deliver value‑driven solutions that support customer success and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth for the Separation Technologies portfolio by prospecting, developing and converting opportunities in target industries.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers, understanding their operational and business needs.
• Conduct on‑site visits and technical/commercial discussions to promote Alfa Laval solutions and uncover value‑creation opportunities.
• Prepare and present high‑quality technical and commercial proposals aligned with customer requirements.
• Lead the sales process from prospecting through negotiation to closing, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Collaborate with technical, application and service teams to develop competitive, customer‑focused solutions.
• Identify cross‑selling and upselling opportunities across the full Separation portfolio.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline data in internal CRM tools and contribute to achieving sales and profitability targets.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated professional with strong commercial drive and a curious mindset.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders in international, cross‑cultural environments.
• Result‑oriented, customer‑focused and able to prioritize opportunities in a fast‑paced setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Experience in sales or business development within capital equipment/industrial solutions, mandatory Food & Beverage industry experience; separation equipment (decanters) experience is a strong advantage.
• Fluent Portuguese and advanced or fluent English.
