Senior AI/Robotics Engineer – In‑Home Care

About the role

We are looking for a senior engineer to lead AI and robotics R&D for an in‑home care platform. The role is fully remote in Brazil, with occasional travel to the United States to work hands‑on with hardware. You will be the primary technical problem‑solver, turning open questions into working prototypes quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Write production and prototype code across the stack, delivering MVPs and demos for rapid validation.
• Design and build internal tools and automation that amplify a small team’s impact.
• Integrate cameras, sensors, wearables and third‑party services into the platform.
• Conduct end‑to‑end R&D experiments, evaluate build‑vs‑buy decisions and produce evidence‑based recommendations.
• Provide direct technical answers to the CEO and business stakeholders, shaping roadmap and funding narratives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development with a track record of shipping products used by real customers.
• Hands‑on AI/ML experience, including work with LLMs, speech or perception systems.
• Ability to work autonomously, define priorities and deliver results without a groomed backlog.
• Willingness to travel to the US a few times per year (valid B1/B2 visa required).

What we offer

• Base salary $100k‑$150k per year, dependent on experience, plus equity.
