Senior Consultant – Operational Risk Management

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to lead Operational Risk Management initiatives for our clients in high‑risk, asset‑intensive industries. You will apply deep expertise in safety and risk governance to deliver measurable improvements and support resilient, sustainable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical or specialist workstreams within complex consulting engagements.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise on Operational Risk Management programmes and assessments.
• Facilitate BowTie workshops and major risk identification exercises.
• Design and implement operational improvement solutions and risk‑based decision frameworks.
• Analyse operational risks, systems and performance‑improvement opportunities.
• Advise client leaders on safety leadership, risk governance and risk‑based decision making.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to methodology development and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Operational Risk Management and safety within high‑risk sectors.
• Strong track record of leading technical workstreams and delivering client impact.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Capacity to mentor and develop junior team members.
