About the role

Senior Data Engineer needed to work as a consultant for US‑based clients in the financial services sector. The role involves leading a lean team to design, build and operate data‑intensive solutions while mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and operate production‑grade services and data pipelines.
• Co‑own orchestration and deployment automation using Airflow and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design data‑warehousing solutions.
• Mentor and support junior and mid‑level engineers.
• Contribute to AI‑powered feature design and implementation.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and follow source‑control and peer‑review workflows.
• Participate in architecture and design decisions across client engagements.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with strong Python expertise.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in structured production environments and deploying automated pipelines.
